My Story
I have been married to a fireman for over 24 years. Whenever I would light a candle he insisted I stay in the same room and watch it glow. If I left a room the expectation was to blow it out. I completely saw his point especially having a son and daughter that would play in the wax. However, it was not convenient and I would forget. If I was not in a room and he noticed it burning on its own he would blow it out. I went to a Scentsy party in November of 2008 at a friends house. Then I went to the salon where my daughter and I started smelling while we waited. Spontaneously I decided to snag the basket from the salon and share the scents with some friends. I was more and more hooked each time I smelled the scents. I decided with my basket party that I would start my own business and be a Scentsy Consultant. My goal was to make enough money to support my SCENTSY habit. I exceeded that by making enough money to support a few more hobbies. I am not a pushy person so starting my own business and selling SCENTSY products was really intimidating to me. I am blessed to have found SCENTSY because I love it and it sells itself. I use all the kitchen, laundry, and on-the-go products as well as the beautiful warmers.
